User Data Deletion Request & Instructions
Google Play policy requires developers to provide users with a clear method to delete their app data.
1. Deleting Local On-Device Data
Since all transaction data resides on your physical smartphone, you can permanently erase 100% of your records immediately:
- Open your device Settings.
- Go to Apps > SpendWise.
- Tap Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data).
- Alternatively, uninstalling SpendWise immediately deletes all local database records.
2. Deleting Google Drive Cloud Backups
If you opted into Google Drive backup syncing, you can delete your backup file at any time:
- Open Google Drive on your web browser or desktop.
- Click the Gear icon (Settings) > Settings.
- Click Manage Apps on the left menu.
- Scroll down to SpendWise.
- Click Options > Delete hidden app data.
- You can also revoke Google Sign-In access under your Google Account Security settings.
Need assistance with your data?
Because Taloran does not store your email, phone number, or transactions on remote servers, we do not hold copies of your database. If you have any technical questions regarding data removal, please contact our support desk:
