By downloading, installing, or utilizing mobile applications published by Taloran (including SpendWise and SpendWise Pro) or visiting the website at taloran.tech, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our software.
2. License and Permitted Use
Taloran grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use our mobile applications strictly for personal, non-commercial bookkeeping and productivity purposes on Android devices that you own or control, in accordance with Google Play Store Terms of Service.
3. Financial Disclaimer (Not Financial Advice)
Important Notice:
SpendWise is an independent organizational tool for recording expense receipts, budgeting, and debt notes. Taloran does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All calculations, budget charts, and analytics are provided “as is” for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of your financial balances and tax filings.
4. In-App Purchases and Payments
Certain features or ad-free editions (e.g. SpendWise Pro) may be offered via one-time in-app purchases through the Google Play Store billing platform. All purchase transactions, payment processing, sales tax handling, and refunds are governed by Google Play's Terms of Service and refund policies.
5. User Responsibility for Data Backups
Because SpendWise is an offline-first application that stores records in the device's local SQLite database, you are solely responsible for safeguarding your device and performing regular backups (via device backup or the optional Google Drive sync feature). Taloran has no access to your device and cannot recover lost data resulting from device damage, uninstallation, or factory reset.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taloran, its developers, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or financial losses arising from the use or inability to use our applications.
